🇮🇹 giorno 1 - 🇬🇧 Day 1

🇮🇹 Oggi è stata un po' tosta, ma sicuramente avventurosa. La poca acqua presente nel fiume ha fatto sí che ogni accumulo di sassi fosse una trappola per far incagliare le imbarcazioni. Sono state quattro le volte in cui siamo dovuti scendere per trascinare i kayak sul greto del fiume. Anche alberi sdraiati per tutta la larghezza del fiume hanno creato qualche problema. Mentre la pioggia da poco fastidio a chi è giá bagnato.

Sicuramente è stata una giornata "avventurosa", con colpi di scena e anche un paio di ribaltamenti. Le risate non sono mancate. Cosí come non è mancato lo stupore nel vedere da vicino un Martin Pescatore, o "inseguire" per chilometri un Airone Cenerino dalle dimensioni ragguardevoli. Certo, anche cavedani e trote non erano da meno.

Comunque, oggi percorsi solo 30km, ma era una situazione giá prevista per il basso livello dell'acqua. 

Domani, rinfrancati da una lauta cena e dal fuoco del campo, ottimisti sul livello dell' acqua, proveremo a fare di meglio.

🇬🇧 Today was a bit tough, but definitely adventurous.  The lack of water in the river meant that every accumulation of stones was a trap for stranding the boats.  There were four times we had to go down to haul the kayaks on the riverbed.  Trees lying across the entire width of the river also created some problems.  While the rain hardly bothers those who are already wet.

 It was certainly an "adventurous" day, with twists and even a couple of upsets.  The laughs did not fail.  Just as there was no lack of amazement in seeing a Kingfisher up close, or "chasing" for kilometers a gray heron of considerable size.  Of course, chub and trout weren't far behind either.

 Anyway, today I only traveled 30km, but it was a situation already foreseen due to the low water level.

 Tomorrow, refreshed by a lavish dinner and by the camp fire, optimistic about the water level, we will try to do better.
